Questions & answers

Everything you might like to know before your appointment.

How do I book an appointment?

Send me a booking request online: choose your treatment, tell me a few days that suit you, and add any questions or inspiration photos. I'll reply by e-mail, usually within a day, with a time for you. Once we agree, you get a confirmation with the studio address and links to add it to your calendar.

What is a dry (Russian) manicure?

A dry manicure is done without soaking. Cuticles are gently lifted and cleaned with an e-file and fine tools, which gives a very neat, long-lasting result around the cuticle line.

How long does rubber base last?

Usually 3-4 weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow and how you use your hands. Rubber base is flexible and strengthens natural nails, so it suits thin or weak nails well.

Can you remove rubber base or gel from another salon?

Yes. Choose "Rubber base or gel" when booking and removal is added automatically, or book "Removal + dry manicure" if you would like a clean, natural finish.

Do you do acrylic nails?

No, acrylic nails are not offered. I work with rubber base on your natural nails, which keeps them healthy and strong.

How is nail art priced?

Nail art is added to your manicure price: French tips and mirror effect are a set price, simple designs are priced per nail, and a full set of nail art is priced by design. Feel free to upload an inspiration photo when booking.

How do you keep things hygienic?

Reusable tools are cleaned and sterilised between every client, files and buffers are single use, and the workspace is disinfected before each appointment.

How do I pay?

Payment is made at the end of your appointment. Payment methods will be confirmed with your booking.

Aftercare

Keep your nails beautiful

A few simple habits keep your nails looking their best between appointments.
  • Wear gloves for cleaning and washing up.
  • Use cuticle oil daily to keep your nails and skin hydrated.
  • Use your fingertips, not your nails, to open cans or peel stickers.
  • If a nail lifts or chips, don't pick at it: message me and I'll fix it.
  • Book your next appointment in 3-4 weeks to keep your nails at their best.
